"...a dexterous voice that is able to navigate the approximately thirty eight minutes of the LP while capturing and delivering the narration of each of the songs. A musician I look forward to hearing more from in short order..." ”

Emerging Indie Bands

...It is this awareness of what has gone before that enables Mulligan to use those past traditions and classic sounds as a springboard to head into a glorious future for the folk genre. The result is an album which answers that much asked question “Where now for folk music?””

QUINN HENRY MULLIGAN is continuing with his mission to release one new album every month for twelve straight months; the second of these albums, FEBRUARY, will be self-released 2/23/18 on his website www.quinnhenrymulligan.com.

FEBRUARY is a dreamy trip
through the mind of a man in his twenties, trying to find his place in the world. With lyricism harkening to the likes of Nick Drake and arrangments strongly influenced by David Bowie, Mulligan finds himself weaving in and out of jazz, psychedelic rock, and traditional folk music throughout the 10-track album. The result is as dynamic as it is unique and leaves the listener wanting more.

As a founding member and frontman of FANNO CREEK, Quinn cut his teeth collaborating and gigging with other local acts such as And And And, Animal Eyes, The We Shared Milk, and Old Age. The band grew in popularity, becoming regular fixtures at Portland’s hippest venues and at local events such as live from the Banana Stand and pdx
